Who doesn’t love desserts? I am mostly an ice cream person but give me a good Chocolate Molton Cake and I am sold! As you know, or you might not now, I love Pioneer Woman Ree Drummand. So when I saw a pin for her Homemade Molton Chocolate Cake, I just knew I had to make it!
I was so excited to give this a try that I actually went out the day I saw the pin to get the chocolate to make them that night!! It really was easier to make then I ever thought it would be. I always thought it would be a difficult dessert to make at home so I never attempted it but Ree Drummand’s recipes tend to be easy to follow so I thought I would give it a try. Here is the pin that inspired me.
Like I said earlier, this pin takes you to Ree Drummand’s website, The Pioneer Woman. I pretty much followed exactly what she did, but instead of serving with whipped cream, I did vanilla ice cream. Here is what I did.
What you will need:
- 4 Squares of Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate
- 1/2 cup of Butter
- 1 cup of Powdered Sugar
- 2 Whole Eggs
- 2 Egg Yolks
- 6 tablespoons of Flour
- Vanilla Ice Cream
- Cooking Spray
- Cookie Sheet
- 4 Custard Cups
First thing you do is preheat the oven to 425. Then spray the 4 custard cups with cooking spray and place on cookie sheet. Make sure you spray them liberally.
Then microwave chocolate and butter for 1 minute until butter is melted.
Then whisk melted butter and chocolate together.
Then add powdered sugar and whisk together.
Next add the 2 whole eggs and the 2 egg yolks and whisk together.
Then add the flour and whisk together.
Evenly distribute batter into the 4 custard cups. Bake for 13-14 minutes.
Remove from oven and let sit for 1 minute. Invert cakes onto plate and serve warm with ice cream.
They are so yummy and so easy to make!! These are great to serve for guests, shoot these are great to serve for everyone!
I hope you give them a try!
Until next time!
