Pinterest Project Tuesday: Pom Pom Valentines Heart Wreath

Can you believe it is almost February! I wanted to get started early on some Valentines crafts, so this week is all about that!  As soon as I saw this wreath on Pinterest, I knew I wanted to make it. I literally went out that day to get the stuff to make this! This weeks project is a Pom Pom Valentines Heart Wreath.

IMG_6769This was so easy to make and turned out soo cute! I was able to make this during one of Little Man’s naps (a 20 minute nap).  Here is the pin that inspired me.

photoThe pin takes you to Honey Bear Lane. Which is a website with tons of craft ideas, recipes, fashion and more! Go check it out! I pretty much followed what she did when I made my wreath. Here is what I did.

Here is what you will need.

  • 12in Foam Heart Wreath
  • Hot Glue
  • White ribbon
  • Scissors
  • Pink Pom Poms – two different sizes

IMG_6746First thing you do is start hot gluing the pom poms to the wreath. I did the top then the side than the inside. Then I glued on extra filling in any holes and just making it more fluffy. You can’t have too many pom poms!

IMG_6766 IMG_6767Boom and your done!! SO easy right?? It is so cute! I just love it!

Movie Review: Frozen

I am a total movie person! I love going to the movies and watching a movie on the big screen! I can see the same movie over and over and over. I mean I saw Titanic 14 times in the theater! So when I had Little Man, my movie going days went out the window. I was really starting to have withdrawals, I mean I went to see at movie at least once a week.

So yesterday, I finally went to the movies after almost 7 months!! Brent watched little man and I headed off to my favorite place, Studio Movie Grill! I had it timed perfectly, little man took a long nap, I fed him and off I went. Which gave me at least 3 1/2 hours; which is plenty of time to watch a movie. I was SOO excited but yet nervous, this was the longest I have been away! HA

I am a lover of all things Disney, so I knew I wanted to see Frozen before it left the theaters.

I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED the movie!! It was super cute, the songs were great, the story was typical Disney! I just loved it! Anna, who is voiced by Kristen Bell, is super cute and a total optimistic! Elsa, who is voiced by the great Idina Menzel, is Anna’s sister with special powers. Olaf the Snowman was hilarious and prob my favorite character from the movie.

Over all, I would say its a great family movie and a must see if you have little girls!

Until next time!
