1. Tell us what you like to do when it is cold outside.
When it is cold outside I love to drink hot chocolate, snuggle up on the couch and watch Christmas movies! I also love to make homemade chicken noodle soup. There is nothing more comforting than a big bowl of chicken noodle soup. Then again I can eat chicken noodle soup everyday and be just fine, Brent on the other had would be miserable! HA
2. Tell us some of your favorite “winter” recipes.
My favorite winter recipe is my homemade chicken noodle soup! DUH! HAHA
Here is the recipe:
What you need:
- Whole chicken or if you like just white meat, 3 large bone-in, skin-on chicken breast
- Mini carrots
- Dried parsley
- Black pepper
- Chicken bouillon cubes
First thing you want to do is put 18 chicken cubes into a large pot. Then add 18 cups of water and either the whole chicken or the chicken breast. Bring to a bowl and bowl for 1 hour or until chicken is fully cooked.
While the chicken is cooking cut up your carrots into small chunks. You can add other veggies as well such as onions or celery, I just like having carrots. When the chicken is done, remove the chicken and set aside. Add in all your veggies. (desired amount is up to you!)
Then remove the chicken meat from the bone and skin and cut into chunks. Start your pasta at this time as well. Add the chicken back to the broth. Add in desired parsley and pepper. Finish pasta as desired.
Super easy recipe and super tasty!!
3. Show a picture of something that makes you think of the cold.
Going to Bronner’s in Michigan makes me think of cold! It is the world’s largest Christmas store!!!
4. Tell us/show us some of your favorite accessories/outfits for the winter.
5. Tell us if you had the option of snow or no snow, what would you pick?
I would pick SNOW!!! There is nothing like waking up to fresh snow. It is so beautiful and it really makes it feel like winter. You can make snowmen and snow angles and have snowball fights! It’s great! A white Christmas completes the year! I miss having snow very much and I would be ecstatic to have it back. I was the weirdo that like to shovel the snow! HAHA
