Another Tuesday here and another Pinterest Project! With Halloween quickly approaching I thought it was time to get some Halloween themed projects done!
One of the first Halloween pins that caught my attention was this Boo Burlap Wreath. It was so cute and seemed pretty easy to make.
Here is the pin that I chose this week. The pin takes you to blog called Eighteen25, which is a cute blog with lots of different crafts! They also feature other crafters tutorials as well.
So here is my version of the Boo Burlap Wreath!!
Here is what you need:
- 1 yard of black burlap
- Modge Podge
- Glue gun and hot glue
- Wood letters to spell out BOO
- 14′ foam wreath
- Scrapbooking paper
- Sponge brushes
- Paper plates
- Black paint
First, you want to paint your letters and the wreath foam black.
While those are drying, cut the black burlap into 1in x 16in strips until you have used it all.
Double knot a strip to the wreath.
Knot the next strip overlapping the other slip slightly and continue until the whole form is covered
Once you are done with the burlap, you are going to start Modge Podging the letters. Put a layer of Modge Podge on the wood letter.
Stick down piece of scrapbook paper and let dry. Once dry you can cut out the letter and sand down the side if needed.
Once all letters are covered with their paper and dried, Modge Podge another layer over the paper and let dry,
Once dried, you want to Hot Glue the letters down to the wreath spelling BOO.
Once glue dries, you are done!!
Super easy and super cute!!
I hope you give it a try!!
Until next time!
