This weekend I will be heading to Wimberley Texas for one of my good friends Bachelorette Party!! I am super excited about spending the weekend with the girls and making great memories. Anyways, I was asked to bring a dessert to the party and of course I said yes!! I had to ask the bride-to-be what she would like me to bring since it is her weekend and she said M&M Cookies. Of course I had to fulfill that request!
Who doesn’t love the classic M&M Cookie?? I know I do! They are super easy to make and the house smells so good when they are baking.
Here is my recipe for M&M Cookies!
What you will need:
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp of baking soda
- 1/8 tsp of salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) of unsalted butter softened
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup fo light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp of vanilla
- 12.60 ounce bag of M&Ms
Preheat oven to 350° . In a medium size bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda and salt and set aside.
In your stand mixer with the paddle attachment, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar until fluffy. Make sure your butter is softened or this will be a lot more difficult.
Once butter is creamed, add your egg and vanilla incorporating well after each.
On medium-slow, start adding in your dry ingredients until well mixed together.
Remove bowl from mixer and add in M&Ms. You want to hand mix the candies in so that you do not break them apart .
Drop a full teaspoon amount of dough onto your cookie sheet about an inch apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
Let cool completely and your done! Super easy right?
I had to give them a little taste and they were super yummy! I can’t wait to share them with all the girls! I hope you give them a try!
Until next time.
